Admit Card Latest Status
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the UGC NET December 2025 admit card on its official website ugcnet.nta.nic.in.
Candidates whose exam is on 31 December 2025 can now download their hall ticket.
Admit cards for candidates appearing on other exam dates will be released soon in steps.

Candidates should download their admit card and city slip only from the official website – ugcnet.nta.nic.in.
Do not open or trust any unofficial or CSIR NET websites, as they may give wrong or fake information.
UGC NET December 2025 Exam Dates
The UGC NET December 2025 exam will be held from 31 December 2025 to 7 January 2026.
The exam will take place at different centres across India and will be conducted in more than one shift.
Intimation Slip
Before releasing the admit card, NTA issued the City Intimation Slip.
This slip only tells candidates in which city their exam centre will be.
Important to know:
The city slip is not the admit card. It is only for travel planning and cannot be used to enter the exam hall.
Details Given on the Admit Card
The UGC NET admit card includes the following information:
• Candidate’s name
• Roll number / application number
• Exam date and exam shift
• Reporting time and gate closing time
• Full address of the exam centre
• Important exam instructions
Candidates must reach the centre early, as reporting time is before the exam starts for checking and verification.
How to Download UGC NET Admit Card 2025
Follow these easy steps:
1. Go to ugcnet.nta.nic.in
2. Click on UGC NET Admit Card 2025 link
3. Enter your application number and date of birth or password
4. Fill the captcha and submit
5. Download the admit card and take 2–3 printouts
Only printed admit card is allowed at the exam centre. Mobile screenshots are usually not accepted.
UGC NET Exam Day Instructions
On the exam day, candidates should:
• Reach the exam centre before the given reporting time
• Carry a printed admit card and valid photo ID (Aadhaar / Passport / Voter ID)
• Complete biometric verification at the centre
• Follow all rules written on the admit card
Things Not Allowed in Exam Hall
Do not carry these items:
• Mobile phones, smartwatches, or any electronic items
• Books, notes, or study material
• Bags, wallets, or big personal items
Carrying these items may lead to entry refusal or exam cancellation.
Important Tips
• If the website is slow, try downloading the admit card late at night or early morning
• Check your name, photo, and other details carefully on the admit card
• Visit the exam centre one day before the exam to avoid confusion on exam day
